As a valued user of FacePOS, it's important for you to understand how our services work and the regulatory environment we operate in. This disclaimer aims to provide clarity from a consumer perspective.
FacePOS's Role:
FacePOS is not a bank. We do not store or manage customer funds. Our service facilitates the transfer of funds between accounts using the FacePOS app, in partnership with Tink, a licensed Third Party Provider (TPP).
Regulatory Compliance:
Tink, our partner, is regulated by relevant authorities in the UK, Sweden, and Ireland. By using Tink's Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP) and Account Information Service Provider (AISP) licenses, FacePOS ensures that all transactions are compliant with financial regulations.
Transaction Monitoring:
In compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) regulations, FacePOS monitors transactions. Any suspicious activities (SARs) identified are reported to the Garda in Ireland, police in the UK, and relevant competent authorities.
User Responsibility:
As a FacePOS user, you're responsible for lawful use of our services. We advise you to stay informed about the legal implications of your transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
